Mailing Labels Template

Vlad

I'm opening a new document through File->New->Mailing Label Wizard. Then I
select Avery 5266 File Folder label and click on New Document button on
Envelopes and Labels dialog. Word brings formatted page and I can type my
labels on the first page with no problem. Then when I finished with the
first page Word adds a new page with different formatting - vertical gaps
between labels are lost. It happens when I type labels manually and when I
send data from Visual Basic application to the Word Object
It wouldn't be a problem if I was going to use that label templates for
manual typing. But for Visual Basic application it's a real problem, because
only the first page can be used. All others is a garbage.
Any advice how to keep formatting on all pages or how to create a new
template which will keep formatting on all pages in the document based on
that template?
Thank you
Vlad

Hmmm . I see the problem, having now tried it.

Cindy has the simple solution.

Use the new document function to create the table. Select the table then
save as an autotext entry. You can place the autotext as often as you like
to give new pages of the same format.

I would, however, recommend the use of mail merge for filling your label
sheets where the problem would not arise.
