Mail takes long time to open

We have an Exchange 5.5 Server and users have XP Pro with XP Office or
Office2000.

One user here has XP Pro and Office2000. Many of his recipients complain
that his emails take about 30 seconds to open.
I can't find anything out of the ordinary in his Outlook setup. Others who
send the same emails have no problem. I was thinking of upgrading him to XP
Office.

Any suggestions please?

I have had same problem a time ago.
Try to find the file : outcmd.dat (in doc.settings\username\app.
data\microsoft\outlook).

Remove this file while outlook is closed.
In my case problem was solved.
