My mail is working on the server and coming through on the blackberry but not
into my windows mail account. This is the error message:

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'Tracey', Server:
'pop1.nsnoc.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error:
10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Any ideas how I fix it?

Is there any good reason you're using port 995? The server seems to respond
fine on the default POP port, 110.

As an experiment I ticked the SSL box which changed it to 995. I am now
getting the message:
The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'Tracey', Server:
'pop1.nsnoc.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error:
10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Again, pop1.nsnoc.com responds to me on port 110:

C:\Users\halh>telnet pop1.nsnoc.com 110

The server is there and operational; any chance you're running an AntiVirus
application setup to scan your email?

That type of problem is often caused by interference from a non-
compatible antivirus program. Which antivirus are you running?
As a minimum, email scanning in the antivirus must be turned off,
although that may not be sufficient to eliminate all bad effects.
In a worst case scenario, your antivirus may need to be uninstalled.

Email scanning in any antivirus must be disabled, for reasons
explained here:

Thanks guys. I have Norton 360 and have turned off the email scan, restarted
and it is now working. Is not very helpful that it automatically buggers up
your email but hey it is fixed now. I appreciate your help.
