Mail sending from wrong account

Hello,

I have ten e-mail accounts set up in Outlook 2003, running under WinXP Pro.
Nine of them are POP accounts, and one is a HotMail HTML account. They all
work fine.

I have added a new POP account. The "Test account settings" for it runs
successfully. I am receiving mail for that account in Outlook. But I'm having
a strange problem that will mean I can't send mail from Outlook on this
account if I can't fix it.

When I send an e-mail to myself and specifiy that it should be sent on the
new account, it instead arrives as having been sent from my default mail
account. I've tried moving the new account up in the list of accounts and
even making it the default account, but mail sent from that account still
arrives as if it was sent by
the original default account. All my other accounts are working fine,
allowing mail to be sent from them.

Has anyone here ever seen anything like this? Obviously, I can't use this
account to send mail if I can't fix this problem. Thanks for your help.

Regards,
