mail retrieval

when I try to access my hotmail account from Outlook express I get an error
message -"The connection to the server has failed. Account:
'mail.hotmail.com', Server 'mail.hotmail.com', Protocol: POP3, Port 110,
Secure(SSL): No, Socket error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E" - what does
this mean and how can I fix this? Thanks!

You must receive Hotmail via Http
server,not pop3.
You can use the wizard to create a now
account by
using the http server
http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp

setup ok,then you can receive hotmail
via OE.
