mail notification

new to vista, do you get (or can you get) notified when you receive new mail?
like when i get mail on msn a window pops up. Thanks.
 
I am not sure what you are telling this person about Mail Notification
with Windows Mail. I have Windows Mail and it does give me mail
notification. I am trying to find out how to set it so I can tell my niece
how to setup her Windows Mail to noify her when new mail comes in.
Windows LIve Mail and Windows Mail are two different mail programs.
