Mail Merge

I was using mail merge and now everytime I open word the envelope page opens.
I just need word to open the way it did before, as a word document.

It sounds as if you have unwittingly changed your normal.dot template. I'd
suggest you
a. locate your normal.dot
b. make a backup copy of it (it is very likely to contain personal settings
and so on)
c. delete it
d. restart Word.
