mail merge to email

I understand how to perform a mail merge however at the end of the process I
get a "mswrd632 converter error". I can not figure out how to fix this error.

I have 2000 contacts in 15 different categories.
I want to do a mail merge to 20 contacts in a spacific category.
Could anyone give me step by step instructions?

Select the Contacts to which you want to merge > Tools > Mail merge...
Follow the prompts.
