Mail Merge Question for Office 2003

We have a table in XLS that is merging with a Word document. The XLS shows
all the number with only 2 decimal places x.yy but the merge show a whole
bunch of other 000000000 after the last digit. How do I get the merge to
show just what is in XLS?

Ex. It should just pull over x.yy but it's pulling over x.yy00000000000
