Mail merge in Word

I'm a very new user and I purchased the MS student 2007. I have entered many
names and addresses into mail merge and I would like to know if I can somehow
copy or move these names and addresses to another file?
 
Please post your question in a group dealing with Word. This one is for the
relational database program Access.
