mail folders

I recently had to create a new user profile for my computer. I had a few
personal folders set up in Outlook. I have all the emails saved but is there
any way to restore the personal folders without having to create them again?

If I understand you correctly, copy your outlook data file, the pst, from
the old user location to one where this user has access, then within Outlook
open that data file

Sure. Add the PST to your mail profile. Were I doing it, I'd use the Mail
applet in Control Panel.

A corrupt profile (and perhaps why you created a new one) doesn't mean a
corrupt .pst file. Have your new profile use the old .pst file as its
message store (File -> Data Management). If you want to start with a
new .pst file but bring stuff over from the old .pst file, use File ->
Open to load the message store and drag out of it whatever you want to
put into the new message store.
