Mail folder configuration problem

I imported a couple of message folders (Inbox and Sent Mail) from Outlook
Express. I went in to my old Sent Mail folder looking for an item and
noticed that while I had a "from" column, no "to" column was displayed. So
went to the View menu, selected "columns" and unchecked the "from" box and
check the "to" box. Got what I needed, but only susequently discovered that
this change had been applied to ALL the MS mail folder, both the native
folders and the imported ones. Easy to recreate this problem. Shouldn't
each folder be individually configurable?

This behaviour is as expected, it was the same in OE, change the column
settings in any of the default folders and it is reflected in each of them.

IMHO yes, they <should> be individually configurable.
But they aren't.
