Because i've a laptop & PC, i've also 2 places to check my mail. At this
moment, i'm using Thunderbird. It's not possible to synchronize the both
mailboxes over LAN (afaik)

Now i'm looking for a (decent) mailclient that stores the mails in
different files (each mail his own file). The purpose is, to synchronize
the both directory's with a program like SyncBack (or something)

Leaving the mail on server is no option, because my mailbox is to small ...

Suggestion: let mail on server when receiving with computer A en
delete from server when receiving with computer B.

Or, if your provider supports it, use IMAP instead of POP3.

It's not only for the reveiving, but also for sending ... both sendboxes
have to be the same (ok, it should be possible with sending on A with a CC
to an adres, wich on computer B will be moved to the sendbox)

But Imap leaves the mail on the server, right?

Personally I use Phoenix (http://phxmail.sourceforge.net/index.html
IIRC) which stores messages as plain text files.
