I have always used Outlook for my mail and now I am having problems with it,
so now use the Windows Mail in vista and the calendar. In outlook the
calendar was integrated and I used it to remind me of appointments etc.
Does anyone know if there is a way of starting the calendar at the same time
when you to into the Win Mail, if there is some command you can put to start
them both together or alternatively the calendar opens automatically when
you start the computer up.

Thanks.

Margaret

Under the Start menu there is a directory called "Startup". If you drag the
calendar shortcut so that its under the Startup, then it will start when you
start Windows.

Just to clarify, the actual start menu and startup directory are located
under

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start
Menu\Programs\Startup

So the shortcut needs to be dragged into that directory in order for it to
start on Windows startup.
