If I may. I created a clean install of Vista-B, and set up one email account
with MSN. This installation was damaged and after a format, another clean
install was done, eventually upgraded to SP1. Windows Mail is not permitting
now the set up of my MSN.COM email account, claiming HTTP accounts are not
supported any longer. I am able to use news and NTTP as you can see. The
selections for Mail and News Handler are gray out. Please advice.

If I remember correctly, msn.com accounts require connecting with the HTTP
protocol, which Windows Mail cannot handle. If so, you can try downloading
and installing Windows Live Mail, which can connect to at least some HTTP
accounts, in addition to taking over any accounts Windows Mail can handle.

Thanks for the reply. How is it claim that this is the replacement for
Outlook Express? I guest will continue use for News only and stay with
Outlook from Office for the mail.
Thanks again and cheers

Windows Mail seems to be as much of a replacement for Outlook
Express as they could get ready in time for the release of Vista.
