I don´t know why windows live mail is asking for credentials evety time that
i try to download the messages. Some saw something like this?

thanks!

1. Download from what kind of email account?
2. Are you getting any error messages (post them if you do)?
3. Repeated credential prompts when you know you're entering the correct
values are often a symptom of an Antivirus application setup to scan email
that has a problem (which they all do), are you running one?

Hi! At this moment, i'm not running any anti-virus system....
It's downloading from a pop3 email server and Windows mail don't raise any
error message. The email server don't use SSL.

That type of problem is usually caused by interference from a non-
compatible antivirus program. Which antivirus are you running?
As a minimum, email scanning in the antivirus must be turned off,
although that may not be sufficient to eliminate all bad effects.
In a worst case scenario, your antivirus may need to be uninstalled.

Email scanning in any antivirus must be disabled, for reasons
explained here:
http://thundercloud.net/infoave/tutorials/email-scanning/index.htm

If no improvement after disabling email scanning, consider upgrading
to Windows Live Mail, because it is less prone to suffering bad effects
from overly intrusive antivirus programs:
