Mac's in a Windows environment

We are a Windows Domain / Windows 2K / XP shop.

There is some mounting pressure for us to introduce a Mac for the sole
(alleged) purpose of video editing. If any of you support an environment
mixed with Mac's and Windows, I'd love to hear your top three pro's or con's
from your day to day experiences.

Why do you need a mac?

A PC will do the same job as a MAC when it comes to video Editing or Graphic
Design. I even vaguely remeber reading an article how Adobe is going to stop
support Macs for some software given there usage is so low.
