How do I set up Word 2000 so I can share common Macros across the network?

Hi, Tom,

In addition to pointing you to the specific page
(http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MacrosVBA/DistributeMacros.htm), I should
have added this: There is no way to "share" macros in the same way
that multiple users can access a database at the same time. Word
requires exclusive access by one user at a time to any document or
template. That's why the page I referred to talks about using logon
scripts to *copy* templates from a central location to local hard
drives, so each user has a personal copy that's regularly updated.

Hope that clarifies the situation...
