Macros not showing in add-ins word 2007

We have one PC where our documents that have macros in them, do not show in the add-ins. To make things even worse, they do not show when the documents are created from our program, but they do show when you open them from Word. I have tested all the Word Option settings I think are relevant and nothing seems to replicate this issue. The PC in question is a clients so we cannot see exactly what their settings are.

I've read a few posts on this forum and others and nothing seems to help. The macros were written and maintained in versions prior to Word 2007.

It doesn;t matter which document or which macros, none of them show.
