Macros don't save in 2003

I record and save a macro in Word 2003 and can use the macro at the time.
When I close Word and then re-open the macro is no longer available. How can
I fix this?

Are you using ACrobat 7.0.0?

Thank you so much for your help. I had loaded Acrobat 7. The update patch
to this program has fixed my problem.
