Macros disabled message in Outlook

Sue, I too am getting this error message and I am not clear on your
instructions as to how to get rid of this. It just started happening all of
a sudden today and I have made no changes to my setting within Macro or Word.
Can you take me through what to do step by step?

Open Word, check its macro settings, and remove any macros from Normal.dot,
if you prefer. That's where the warning is coming from -- Word, not Outlook.

Outlook can use Word as its email editor. If that option is turned on, Word loads when you create a message. When Word loads, its Normal.dot template loads, including any macros there.

Did you do what I suggested? Open Word. Check Tools | Macro | Security. What is the setting there?
