Macromedia Flash Player no longer works

Still working fine here, and I've not had complaints from the 20 or so
machines I've installed on. Did you do a scan? Did you remove items, after
the scan? Is there anything in the cleaner.log file (located in the
directory Microsoft Antispyware is installed in, by default \program
files\microsoft antispyware) that might shed light on what happened?

Once SPYWARE loaded macromedia flash player no longer
works. Any ideas why?
.
I have the same problem. I even tried to down load
flash player, no luck. Any place there is supposed to be
a video link on a web page there is a small box with a X
in it.

I also would like a solution.

Robert,

Uninstall Flash Player :
http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=tn_14157
First use the uninstaller for version 7 then use the manual uninstall
directions to confirm that it has successfuly uninstalled. When you're
done reboot the system. Then download Flash Player 7 and save it :

Close IE and then install it.

Same problem here.
I contacted Macromedia about the problem and with-in 24
hrs I had an email response that was helpful.

Evidently MS AntiSpyware Beta has removed Flash because
it was working fine before the installation of
AntiSpyware.

the email from Macromedia provided links with
instructions for checking my system and for reinstalling
Flash and enable ActiveX controllers.

I can send you a copy of the email by return email.

Have you checked out the blocked programs list?

SpywareBlaster has an optional tool which blocks flash, and can also unblock
it.

You might try installing SpywareBlaster if you haven't already and seeing
whether toggling that tool does you any good.
