Macromedia Flash 6 installed but not workin

I have IE 6 with lastest updates on my win xp os. In
internet explorer on the msn.com home page, the macromedia
6.o flash box is empty and apparently not loadin. What
might cause this? Itried reinstalling Flassh 6 and got a
successful download and install.

Have you completely uninstalled all Flash componets?

Elliot,

Try checking Internet Explorer's security settings, specifically ActiveX and
ActiveScripting options. To do this, click <Tools> on the toolbar, then
<Internet Options> on the sub-menu--this will open Internet Explorer's
options window.

Click the <Security> tab. Click the <Globe> icon--this is for the Internet
settings. Now click the <Custom> button and check your browser's security
settings.
