Macro

I'm using Access 2000. I have created a macro that
appends, using queries, several tables into one table. I
thought it was simple and straightforward. However,
everytime I run the macro, the total number of records in
the table to which the tables are being appended is less
than the actual total number of records. For instance, if
you add all the records in the tables being appended
together and you get 25, the table to which you have
appended those tables comes to 20.

The most likely explanation is that some of the records are being
excluded from the Append because they contain duplicate values in a
primary key of unique index field, or because they break some other
rule, such as no data in a field whose Required property in the table
being appended to is set to Yes, or theey break a Validation Rule
setting. Try running the Append Queries manually, and see what the
confirmation messages say, and try to identify the records which are
being excluded and examine them closely to see if you can identify the
reason.
