When I put the cursor over certain text boxes the
shape of the cursor will not change, nor will macros
start up.

Why wouldn't some text boxes allowing macros to
start when one clicks on them?

LOL. You asked and answered your own question, and then you have the nerve
to criticize others for not getting you the answer first?

Moreover, your description of the problem was, shall we say, less than
accurate. You DID mention clicking on text boxes which certainly implies
that they were clickable, but you did NOT mention that you were actually
just TRYING to click on a disabled text box--a key piece of information that
might have gotten you an answer sooner if you had thought to share it.

If you have future questions, please try to state the whole problem as
completely as possible. That could possibly be the secret to getting an
answer.

Additionally, Access gurus don't use macros, they write Visual basic
code, which is what is encapsulated in macros anyway.
