Macro which will allow user to searchfor whatever he wants

I'm trying to create a macro button which will allow me to click on i
and it will then come up with a search box so i can search whateva
want?????:confused

maybe i'm missing something but why don't you use the build-in search
functionality of Excel. You can also add the respective button to the
menu bar?

If this is not what you want you may explain with a little bit more
detail what you're trying to achieve :-)
