Macro to delete rows that contain specific words

Hi,

The macro i am trying to build needs to open a deisgnated file and
each row in column A that has the given word to delete the row and
move everything up.

i.e.

Mark
apple
apple
Steve
John
apple

So in the above example the data is in column A so the macro will scan
through and delete the rows that display apple.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
