Macro - Save an Open Excel Version 4 as current version of Excel

I'd like to open some excel files that are created in Brio - which
saves in Excel 4 format - and them save them in the current excel
version from a macro. Can anyone give me advice?

I tried recording a macro but it doesn't seem to add in the extra part
about saving in new version of Excel.
