Macro Run to Slow..How to improve?

  • Thread starter Thread starter geniusideas
  • Start date Start date
That kind of depends on what the macro is doing as to how to speed it
up. A couple of general tips would be to git rid of any .Select
statements that aren`t absolutely essential and include
"Application.ScreenUpdating = False" at the start of your macro and
"Application.ScreenUpdating = True" at the end.

Try turning calculation off at the start and back on at the end.

Application.calculation = xlmanual or xlautomatic

and to force a calc during your macro:

Application.calculate
