Macro recording toolbar missing

why can't I see recording toolbar with stop and absolute/relative button
while recording macro in Excel 2000?

Hello
Keep the Visual Basic Toolbar visible in Excel and thus you will have access
to any option:
View, Tool bars, Visual Basic and place the tool bar somewhere near the
standard tool bar for example.
Each time you will launch Excel, the VB tool bar will be there.
