Okay, I started a new job this week and many of the Word forms have a macro
set up, which will allow me to jump to each place in the document that I
need to make needed changes. Here is my problem, I forgot to do "save as"
before working on one of the forms and I lost the original form.

I need to fix the original form, but I don't know how. Can anyone help me?

The poor company practice of saving old documents with new names has
contributed to this error. What should occur is that the document with the
macros should have be saved as a template and new form documents are then
created from it, then the problem doesn't arise. I'll bet also that you
don't have Word configured to save a backup file, in which case the backup
will be the version before you saved the altered version.

If you don't have a backup (and the company doesn't have a backup) then the
original is gone. Whether it is possible to fix the amended form rather
depends on what you have changed in it.

If your co-workers are using a similar method then maybe one of them has a
copy? Don't tell me you are all using the same document, with no backup, for
this procedure so fraught with danger?
