Macro Options Hidden

I have loaded the 2003 update on my computer and am unable to change the
security levels of the macros. I know to look in tools and macros but both
the macro and options selections in the tools menu are shaded grey and I
cannot select them. This only occurs in word, not any of the other microsoft
items
 
Try "Tools", "Options", click the "Security" TAB, click the "Macro Security"
button, and select "Medium".
 
Do you have a blank document open when you attempt to do this? Probably
nothing so simple, but if not give it a try.
