Hi. I have created a few macros and saved them to my personal workbook. Now
every time I open an excel file, the worksheet opens and the perosonal
worksheet opens. Can I change something so that the personal one doesn't
open? Also, somewhere along the line I accidentally saved another personal
worksheet "8.xls" so now all three open: 1. my file 2. personal.xls and 3.
8.xls.

Any help is appreciated!
Thanks,
Stacey

Hi Stacey

Close Excel
Goto this folder

C:\Documents and Settings\Ron\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART
In Vista look here
C:\Users\Ron\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART

Remove 8.xls and my file ?

Open Excel

Then do this to hide the personal file :

When you open Excel and you see PERSONAL.XLS(B) in the title bar you can use this to hide it.

Excel 97-2003: Window>Hide
Excel 2007 : On the View tab in the window group choose Hide

Then close Excel and say Yes to save the changes to your PERSONAL file.

Yup. That did it. Thanks for your help!
