Macro for Auto Close

I am trying to create an auto close macro that will do the following

On close if changes have been made

Then document will be saved as a new versio

else document is closed as current version

Thank
 
Q 1: How about saving the document as read-only?

Q 2: Properties: Try
Tools => Options => Save (tab)

check the option to prompt for document properties.
