Looks like you don't know what the machinist.dll is and why he's looking
for it.

As a regular Linux user I can tell you all that ripping and decoding a DVD
in Linux is difficult at best. It's impossible if there is anything current
in the copy protection scheme. Case in point, try ripping and copying
"Madagascar" with Linux. I was told outright that the tools don't exist. I
did get it done in Windows though. Linux isn't all things to all people.
Maybe you should do a bit of research before you post something stupid and
expose yourself.

Thanks I managed to download it.
I was trying through a Download Manager
which was d/loading a blank .zip file.
By turning off the dm is ok.
Thanks once again.
I am not keen on ripping business but was
trying just for sake curiosity.

Since most Linux users *AREN'T* into *RIPPING OFF* DVD's like and other copy
protected things as Windows Users like *YOU* are, I'ld say you don't
have a point.

Actually, I own the DVD. As my son is 4 years old and loves to handle the
DVD's himself, it's less expensive for me to exercise *FAIR USE* and make a
*BACKUP COPY* for my son to use. As I have already purchased the DVD, and I
will never use more than one copy at a time, it is within the *FAIR USE* as
determined for software. As I have not stolen anything I believe it is well
within my rights.

Just because someone wants to copy something doesn't mean they are
dishonest! Get off your high horse and join humanity.

Oh yeah, I forgot, my statement is nevertheless true, in that I cannot use
linux for every purpose I need a PC for.
