We have an existing powerpoint presentation that we need to insert MPE
movies into. The presentation is being edited on a Mac but the fina
version needs to be played back on a PC laptop. How do I save the fina
version on the Mac so that it plays back on the PC as a slide show. D
the movies get embedded in the final version? Do you need anythin
special on the PC, such as powerpoint reader. I work with Director an
have done cross platform conversions many time. First time usin
powerpoint, the presentation was done by the client we are jus
updating with MPEG movies. Thanks in advance, any info would b
appreciated.:

You should be able to just move the presentation to a PC with PowerPoint
installed and add the MPGs, but you'll need PowerPoint to edit the
presentation. Movies are not embedded, they are linked, so they will have
to travel with the presentation. Before inserting them, place them in the
same folder that the presentation is saved in and the links will be relative
and will work when the presentation and videos are moved together to another
system.

To play the presentation on the PC you'll need either PowerPoint or the
PowerPoint Viewer, which you can download from
