Lucida Handwriting Font

I have recently upgraded from Windows 98 and Office 97 to XP and MS Office XP
professional and find I no longer have this much used font. I have someone
still using Office 97 and wonder if there is any way I can get it from them
or from any other other source.

You could extract the fonts from the Office 97 CD, or you could use your
search engine of preference to search for free fonts.. the latter way, you
get to see hundreds of fonts that you may find interesting and of value..

You can get it from your Office 97 CD as Mike indicates but you can
also extract from your Win98 CD.
Lhandw.ttf is in Win98_63.cab in the original Win98 CD and in
Win98_69.cab in Win98 SE.

Many thanks for your reply. I have been able to locate this file on the Win98
CD, but am unable to add it to to the Fonts folder in Control Panel. Could
you possible advise me the correct procedure to use. Kind Regards, Gary

Drag it into the fonts folder. Or read help.

Open Fonts in Control Panel.. click on FILE - INSTALL FONTS.. direct the
search to the folder on the Win 98 CD containing what you want..
