Lsass.exe on 100% CPU when using messenger - MS Vista

Now from browsing on the internet I see I'm not the only one with this
problem. I have two test machines in a corporate environment running MS Vista
to test compatibility with corporate applications. It seems there is a real
issue with messenger under Vista where lsass.exe goes to 100% cpu and hangs
the machine. I have this on both machines. Only solution is to lower the
prioroty of lsass.exe or kill MSN.

I have reinstalled Live messenger, tried different versions including the
latest, repaired etc etc etc and nothing helps. Since I have it on two
machines with different configurations I'm sure this is an issue with
Messnger as Vista is running fine on everything else. Checked for virusses
with two different apps and found nothing.

MS, please start solving this .... everybody uses msn .....

I get this on Windows XP if I turn on the option in Windows Live Messenger
to store the address book on the local machine. With this turned off it's
OK.
