lsass error -1073741819 after applying W2k SP4

After I have applied W2k SP4 on all our servers, our DC's
reboots a few times every day. A popup appears on the
screen says LSASS terminated with error -1073741819 and
then counts down from 60 secons and rebooting.

All i can find on technet are problems related to w2k SP1
or SP2. I have tried to reappy the servicepack (SP4) but
the problem still remains.

Hi Claes,

Regarding this issue, I suggest you remove and reinstall TCP/IP on DC. For
more information, please refer to this article:

Note: It is suggested to perform a system state backup before booting into
the directory services restore mode to remove tcp/ip.

The "LSASS terminated with error -1073741819" issue could also occur under
the following scenarios:

1. Ontrack is installed (appears to be a incompatibility in Ontrack with
sp2 or higher). If so, uninstall it.

2. After installing Norton Antivirus Corporate edition and Wingate client
3.09 onto the Windows 2000 domain controller.

3. Installed Password Policy Enforcer
V2.x(http://www.tpis.com.au/products/ppe/techdoc/td00015.htm ). If so,
uninstall it.
