LSA Shell (Export Version) has encountered a problem...

Hello! Help!
3 Times today while running WinXp and online with MSN a
message pops up stating LSA Shell (Export Version) has
encountered a problem and must close. It give me 60
seconds to save and close and then restarts the computer.
When it restarts it asks me to send an error report to
microsoft and when I click to send report it doesn't. It
also won't open IE6 to download updates that are offered
when the computer is restarted.
I searched the knowledge base and all i get are 2
articles about windows NT version 4.0 server or
something.
Any advise would be appreciated!

exploiting a vulnerability in the LSASS sub system.

You've apparently contracted the latest worm, W32.Sasser.Worm,
specifically designed to attack people who do not update their
computers promptly and who do not practice "safe hex." In other
words, like Blaster, this worm was developed and distributed _after_ a
patch for the vulnerability was announced and made publicly available.
Further, and also like Blaster, this worm could not affect any
computer whose user had taken the basic precaution of using a properly
configured firewall.
