Like I said in my earlier post, everytime I log on to
windows without even opening anything I get the low
virtual memory indicator. I have 512 MB of RAM and my
paging file is set at 1.2 GB, yet this still happens. I
am not attempting to play games or load a single thing,
yet it still happens, AND on top of that, I can't even
connect to the internet. My home network still works (I
can transfer files between other computers in my home
network and the other computers can connect to the
internet) so I am wondering what to do. My last resort is
re-installing XP and I really don't want to have to, but
if no one knows of any other way. When I get home, I will
try increasing the page file size, but wouldn't you think
that 1.2GB is sufficient to simply load the desktop?

Hi,
My hard drive is 80GB. When it first started acting up I
only had maybe 5 GB free. I then cleared out a bunch of
crap so that I could successfully run a defrag (You need
to have something like 15% free to do a complete defrag).
Now my hard disk has around 23GB free. Do you have any
ideas?
