I have Windows XP and recently somehow lost my Microsoft Word on my computer.
Can you tell me how to get it back? Thanks!!

Is Microsoft Word listed as an option when you click on Start | All
Programs? If it is, you can start Word that way. Or to manually create
a shortcut to Word on your desktop:
1. Click Start, and then click Search.
2. In the Search Companion pane, click All files and folders.
3. Type winword.exe in the All or part of the name box.
4. In the Look in box, click My Computer.
5. Click Search.
6. In the Search Results window, right-click winword.exe, click Send
to, and then click Desktop (creates shortcut).

If it is not, then click on Start | Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs.
Does Microsoft Word or Microsoft Office appear in the list of
installed programs? If not, then you will probably have to reinstall
Word/Office from the original CD.

If word is already installed on your computer, then you can finnd at
C://Program Files/Microsoft Office/Office11/WINWORD.exe . You can copy and
past this into the Run window at the start menu.To make a shortcut, copy and
past this into the run menu: C://Program Files/Microsoft Office/Office11 ,
find WINWORD right click it, copy and paste a shotcut to the spot ypu want
it.
