Lost visual basic project in excel

When I open my workbook (excel 2002, windows xp), that contains several
number of macros, I got the message "File not found" and the
information in Log file is as follows:

Microsoft Excel File Repair Log

Errors were detected in file 'C:\Program
Files\TerminalCheck\term_kalk.xls'
The following is a list of repairs:

Lost Visual Basic project.
Lost ActiveX controls.

One or more invalid conditional formats were removed from the workbook

And then all Macros are deleted from the file. It is not possibe to
start the excel-file with the macros.

I found out that I can keep the VBA-Project when I deinstall the
Russian language for Non-unicode programs, what I need for several
Russian programs.

But it is very inconvenient to change every time the language for
Non-Unicode programs (I have to restart my computer after each change)
to work with the excel-file and as well as with the other programs.
Therefore I'm looking for other possibilities to solve this problem.

Thanks for any suggestions
Christoph
