lost users after reinstallation of windows

Gateway asked me to reinstall W2K to solve a motherboard
driver issue. After reinstalling W2K, the administrator
and users are no longer accessable at the login screen...
How can I make them accessable?
 
If it was a member of the domain then you will have to rejoin the domain. If
it was a DC then you will have to dcpromo back up. I suspect that it is only
a member of the domain?
