Lost the home network

It appears that when I ran SP3 that it messed up my networking... simple
filesharing etc. on microsoft networks. The PC I upgraded won't show up on
my 2 laptops (they run Vista but were working fine on the network), nor to
another XP PC (not SP3 yet) that was also working fine.

On my main SP3 machine, the network name shows up when I go into show all
networks, but if I click on it it tells me I don't have permission.... I
re-ran setup home network and the same thing happens.

I haven't made any other changes that I know of other than SP3 - windows
firewall is off, third party firewall is off.

Thanks

Check you anti-virus system. Some anti-virus software tend to block
NetBIOS name resolution. This means that you can not find the other
PCs by name but might be able to see them by IP address.
