XP pro SP3
I picked up virus which I have now cleared, but when I click
on Start\My Computer|Local Disc:- (C) nothing happens.
How can I rectify this please?

Thanks for your post, found the answer it was a Autorun.inf that was
blocking my keyboard action I have deleted all.
Will keep your info for future investigation.
