Lost Recycle Bin Icon from Desktop

Thanks Scissor. I just got done googling it and found the same answer.

I have the same problem and that solution doesn't work for me. It restores a
trash can icon - the one with the full basket. If I then empty the trash bin,
the icon does not change to the empty trash can. I have tried this multiple
times. I sure would appreciate help. It all started when I accidently deleted
the recycle bin from the desktop. Thanks. (e-mail address removed)

The 'Delete' option when right-clicking the Recycle Bin is new, giving
you the option of removing the shortcut from your desktop easily. To
restore it you can go
_Start->Control_Panel->Appearance_and_Personalization->Personalization_
and then click "change desktop icons" from the left-hand column. From
there just check Recycle Bin and click OK.
