For some unknown reason, I have lost my "Quick Launch"
toolbar. When I try to reinstall the toolbar by right
clicking on the taskbar, going to "Toolbars" and clicking
"Quick Launch" the system responds with a drop down that
states "Cannot create toolbar". When I try to show the
toolbar by right clicking the "Start Button", going to
"Properties", "Taskbar" and checking the "Show Quick
Launch" the check is accepted until I click "Ok". Upon
going to the taskbar, the Quick Launch toolbar is not
there. Going back to the "Start Button" etc. . . the check
mark is gone.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Jim;
You mentioned that when you click ok and re-enter quick launch is not there. Did you try clicking "apply"?

Hi Hale,
Thanks for responding. Yes, I've tried it both ways,
clicking "ok" with and without "apply" with the same
results. I'm guessing that the registry is corrupted but I
do not know how to find it or what should be in the
location when I do find it.
