To find out where it is if it is still around, go to Start>Search>Files and
Folders>All Files... Type in the name of the lost program in line with
blinking cursor, then click on "Search". Wait until search is complete. If
no luck, re-post; others may have ideas.

If the program came installed on your computer then it will be on a restore
CD. If you installed it after you got the computer then it was deleted when
you did the restore. You will have to re-install it.

Perfect Works is not part of the operating system. Look in your Compaq
manuals or in the collection of disks you got with the computer. If
Perfect Works came preinstalled from Compaq, you should have a cd for
it, or you can call Compaq. Otherwise, this is something you bought and
you'll need to find the installation cd.

Greetings --

The Compaq Quick Restore CD wipes everything off the hard drive
and reinstalls an image of the operating system as it was when it left
the factory. Naturally, any and all applications that were in use
before the restoration will then need to be reinstalled from _their_
original installation media.
