Lost program dll

Loaded the beta version of spyware and ran theprogramme -
restarted the compeuter and got the message

Error loading c:\Progra~1\NEWDOT~1\NEWDOT~2.DLL.

Any body had this problem or got a solution.

A number of folks have seen this one. Simplest and safest procedure is:

Start, run, msconfig <enter>

Click on the Startup tab.

Find the entry which references this file, and uncheck it, and click apply.
exit and restart. You will need to uncheck or check an additional box to
ask MSCONFIG not to remind you that you have disabled this item at each
startup.

.Yes, I have the same problem. Same windoW. It has

RUNDLL on the top of the window. Don't know the solution
yet. I did system restore to get rid of it.

If you have done a System Restore, the executables which caused this error
when removed, are now back on your system. Can you try the mechanisms
suggested by our anonymous responder in this thread, and let us all know how
that works for you?

tab. Uncheck NEWDOT. APPLY, THEN OK

Yes, on about 1/2 of the 11 computers i installed on. Ran

msconfig and stoped loading
c:\Progra~1\NEWDOT~1\NEWDOT~2.DLL on startup, solved
problem and antispy still works
